Intimate Issues  - A book I highly recommend

My sister recently introduced me to this  book about Christian Marriage, that I feel is totally worth reading.  21 questions Christian Women ask about sex is the sub-title.

Linda Dollow & Lorraine Pintus have done a wonderful job of answering the 21 questions in a way that is neither embarrassing or shocking.

They delve into such questions as:
  1.  What does God think about sex?
  2. How can I relate when he is a microwave and I am a crockpot?
  3. What do I do when HE has a headache?
You can see by these examples that this is an enjoyable, funny, serious, and helpful book to say the least.

Chapter 17 is , What's not okay in bed?   They name 10 things God forbids.

The exciting part is how often they remind us that God invented sex as a gift for married couples.

If you have ever had a hangup about sex in marriage, you will walk away from this book grabbing your husbands hand and leading him down the hall, quickly!

They also speak of the fact that some husbands are really not interested in sex, though they love their wife deeply.  It isn't just women who have hangups from early teaching or training.

I highly recommend that we women read the book and then hand it to our husbands to read with the suggestion that we discuss it, so we can understand each other better.

This book, in hardback is around $20.00.  However, you can find a used copy on Amazon.com for around $4.00 plus shipping.  And of course, check out your local thrift stores. That is where my sister happened to find it!

Happy reading, until the next time--May God bless you abundantly!
