Silence...where are you?

I love to sit and write as the Lord guides me, at least I like to think it is from Him.  However, sometimes when I check back on my blog to see if anyone has come to visit....silence, not response, just silence.

Then I think, "well, I guess no one is clicking on the blog so maybe I should be using my time doing something else."  Then I glance down to where it says how many "views" and I see the huge numbers: 956, 1050 and I wonder how so many of you are clicking, reading but then you won't stop and say HI!  I would love to hear from you.  Next time you drop in please just take a moment at the bottom of the blog to let me know you were here!

I give thanks today

I give thanks today to my Father above

for blessing me with all the people I love

I ask Him to always protect them each day

guarding their pathway each step of the way

I pray they will each ask Him into their life

and allow Him to carry them

through trouble and strife

I pray they will read of His mercy and love

in  the  pages  of  His word He sent down from above

And when the day comes for us to leave this place

I pray we will all be there to look into his face

to walk along in wonder as we hear angels sing

and rejoice as we hear the heavenly chapel bells ring
